September 21 Mandalay
စက္တင္ဘာ (၂၁)ရက္ေန႔၊ မႏၲေလးၿမိဳ႕တြင္ က်င္းပေသာ အျပည္ျပည္ဆုိင္ရာ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးေန႔ အခမ္းအနားကုိ ေတာင္သမန္အင္းေစာင္း အေနာက္ဖက္ကမ္းတြင္ ညေန (၃)နာရီအခ်ိန္မွ စတင္ က်င္းပခဲ့သည္။ အခမ္းအနားကုိ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး သီခ်င္းမ်ားႏွင့္စတင္ဖြင့္လွစ္ခဲ့ၿပီး ကဗ်ာဆရာႀကီး ကုိေလး (အင္း၀ဂုဏ္ရည္)၊ ကဗ်ာဆရာ ေမာင္ေႏြထက္၊ ကဗ်ာဆရာ ေမာင္နီဦးတုိ႔မွ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး ကဗ်ာမ်ား ရြတ္ဆုိခဲ့ၾကၿပီး မႏၲေလးတုိင္း အမ်ဳိးသားဒီမုိကေရစီအဖြဲ႔ခ်ဳပ္ ဥကၠဌ ဦးသိန္းတန္မွ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး အမွတ္တရစကားေျပာၾကားခဲ့သည္။
အျပည္ျပည္ဆုိင္ရာၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးေန႔အခမ္းအနားတြင္ စာေရးဆရာၿငိမ္းေအးအိမ္မွ စိမ္းေရာင္စုိ Activities အား အလွဴေငြက်ပ္ ၁သိန္း၂ေသာင္းေပးအပ္လွဴဒါန္းရာ ဆရာၿငိမ္းေအးအိမ္ကုိယ္စား သဘာ၀ျမန္မာဓာတ္ပံုမဂၢဇင္း ဖန္တီးမႈအယ္ဒီတာ ကုိသူရိန္မွေပးအပ္ရာ စိမ္းေရာင္စုိ Activities ဥကၠဌ ဆရာ ေမာင္တင္သစ္မွ လက္ခံရယူခဲ့သည္။ ညေန ၅နာရီခြဲ ၀န္းက်င္တြင္ ေတာင္သမန္ အင္းထဲရွိ ကမၻာေက်ာ္ဦးပိန္တံတားေပၚမွ ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရး အထိမ္းအမွတ္ မုိးပ်ံပူေပါင္းမ်ား စုေပါင္း လႊတ္တင္ၾကၿပီး အခမ္းအနားကုိ ေအာင္ျမင္စြာအဆံုးသတ္ခဲ့ၾကသည္။
September 21's International Peace Day ceremony in Mandalay was held at the western bank of Taung Ta Man Lake at 3pm. The ceremony opened with peace songs, and poets Ko Lay (Innwa Gone Yi), Maung Nway Htet and Maung Ni Oo recited peace poems, while National League of Democracy Mandalay's Chairman U Thein Tan gave a speech for peace.
At International Peace Day ceremony, writer Sayar Nyein Aye Eain donated Ks. 1.2 lakhs to Sein Yaung So Activities, and on behalf of Sayar Nyein Aye Eain, Ko Thurein, Creation Editor of Tha Ba Wa Myanmar Photo Magazine handed over the donation and was accepted by Sayar Maung Thin Thit, Chairman of Sein Yaung So Activities. The ceremony ended with the releasing of peace balloons from world-famous U Bein Bridge in Taung Ta Man Lake at 5:30pm.
